Hey beauties!
I just wanted to stop by and show you guys my new haircut! I don't quite know why, but I have been thinking about shaving my side for a while now. I ultimately think that I was just in need of a change but never had the guys to do it - until now!
One day I felt inspired and spent all day saving photos of beautiful curly ladies with shaved sides to my new Shaved Sides Pinterest board. Some of my favorites are hvairluv, askProy, Fab Ellis, coconut dreamer, didaorich, & ohyesitsv - check out the board for more.
The following morning I tried out a faux shaved sides style where I twisted my hair on one side and recorded my Life Update blog. Since I liked that look, I found the first reputable barber shop that I could find and walked right in!

It's been almost two weeks since the cut and I am still in love with it! I can't wait to see what new styles I come up with.
