How to Easily Blow Out Natural Hair

Every once in a while I like to switch up my style a bit and blow out my natural hair. Everyone's technique for blow outs is different, some people want to achieve bone straight hair, some want a little texture, some use comb attachments, some don't.

I love to achieve a blow out that takes less manipulation, has stretched out roots, and is a great starting point for a stretched twist out or other natural hair style.

Here are my easy blow drying steps:

  2. Deep condition detangle in sections while keeping hair separated <--- important="" is="" li="" step="" this="" very="">

  4. Pull a large section of hair to work with and use you blow dryer on the medium heat & high speed setting with the air from the nozzle blowing downward.
  5. OPTIONAL - Twist each completed section to help contain your hair as you are blowdrying.

Avoiding the blow dryers with comb attachments will do wonders to prevent breakage and not using a brush to blow dry your hair will not only be easier for you, but it will also prevent breakage as well.
