I love to achieve a blow out that takes less manipulation, has stretched out roots, and is a great starting point for a stretched twist out or other natural hair style.
Here are my easy blow drying steps:
- Cleanse thoroughly with a shampoo and condition
- Deep condition detangle in sections while keeping hair separated <--- important="" is="" li="" step="" this="" very=""> --->
- Allow hair to dry for 15-20 minutes prior to applying a light leave-in conditioner a heat protectant.
- Pull a large section of hair to work with and use you blow dryer on the medium heat & high speed setting with the air from the nozzle blowing downward.
- OPTIONAL - Twist each completed section to help contain your hair as you are blowdrying.
Here are the products that I used:
- Conair Cord-Keeper 1875-Watt 2-in-1 Styler - http://amzn.to/1En0BxF
- Alikay Lemongrass Leave-In Conditioner - http://amzn.to/1IYSo3T
- Amla Legend 10-in-1 Silky Blow Out Elixir - http://amzn.to/1JcA65E
- Amla Legend Silky Blow Out Masque - http://amzn.to/1N9ZYi8
Avoiding the blow dryers with comb attachments will do wonders to prevent breakage and not using a brush to blow dry your hair will not only be easier for you, but it will also prevent breakage as well.
